In a typical process consulting, we would do the following :

Measure current metrics and project the metrics from the new systems and processes. This becomes the benchmark to measure business gains in financial terms, upon implementation.
Advice on what processes and how much of each process can be outsourced.
Recommend protective mechanisms for the customer organization against outsourcing discontinuity risks and other engagement risks.
Outline a thorough engagement model to work with QuScient as an outsourced provider; how to keep a close tab on service levels and seek improvement in service levels; how to explore opportunities to optimize processes and costs.
