TECHNOLOGY INFRASTRUCTURE
The success of outsourcing depends on three main factors: processes, people and technology.
We use technology to ensure processes are successfully managed.
In addition, QuScient has invested into delivery infrastructure (servers and workstations), communication infrastructure (internet network connectivity to multiple points in the US ) and safety infrastructure (firewalls, encryption, protection against virus) etc.
Delivery infrastructure for business, accounting and tax process management:
Our servers have Microsoft Windows 2003 server operating system, MS SQL 2000, Postgres 8.0 and MS Access databases and Microsoft IIS and Apache Tomcat internet server application.
Our workstations are Intel platform machines acquired from A-Class vendors (like Dell) and fitted with two LCD monitors (one to display QuTrack and the other to display accounting/other systems) so that the accountant does not need to spend time toggling between one and the other. The accountant can see the document and the accounting system at the same time (pretty much like she could do when she works in a manual environment).
We deploy original software (acquired from authorized dealers) for which we hold user licenses. We prohibit the use of pirated software and deployment of unapproved software on our workstations. All our software is covered by maintenance contracts. Workstations have either Microsoft Windows or Linux operating systems installed.
All our proprietary software are developed using open source technology
and compatible with all browsers and operating systems.
Communication infrastructure:
We have a 1MB circuit for Internet connectivity through an ISP in India along with a redundant wireless link. Our data and voice connections to our clients are through secure VPN tunnels to establish speed and security in communications. The connection is illustrated below.

In addition to the above, we have Zultys MS 250 switches and state-of-the-art telephone equipments, 100% recording facility to maximize call quality.
MX250 combines the functions of an IP PBX, Internet gateway, network server, and application server. Advanced ACD application runs directly on the MX250 and is enabled by software licenses.
Multiple supervisors can oversee groups of agents and ensure that proper service levels are maintained.
